1. Our Commitment to Privacy. This is the Privacy
Policy (this “Policy”) of The Kaweah Water Foundation (referred to herein as “KWF”)
for the KWF’s website (“Website”). KWF is committed to protecting the privacy
of its online visitors and potential participants when using the Website. This
Policy describes what information KWF collects from visitors, how KWF uses that
information, and the choices you have regarding how your information is used.
This Policy applies only to information collected on the Website. For the purposes
of this Policy, the term “Personal Information” includes any information that
identifies you as an individual such as your name, physical address, telephone

Your use of this Website indicates that you have read and accept KWF’s privacy
practices, as outlined in this Policy.
2. Data We Collect. KWF collects both information that you
explicitly give us and information that you implicitly give us merely by
visiting the Website.

consent to KWF using or processing that information. If you contact us via
e-mail for additional information, we collect the information you give us
during that interaction.

b. Third Parties. We do not share personal data with
third-parties for their direct marketing purposes without your permission. We
use third-party service vendors to help us operate and manage this Website and
they may need to access information collected from and about our users in order
to provide services for the Website. In addition, KWF uses third party service

information and not make unauthorized use or disclosure of the information.
c. Legal Matters; Safety. We may access and disclose your

6. Commitment to Data Security. KWF takes
reasonable measures to protect information from unauthorized access,
collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, or disposal in a manner
proportionate with its sensitivity, value and criticality. Such measures
include data privacy and security measures including the use of various
hardware and software. In addition, KWF employs generally accepted information
security techniques, such as firewalls and access control procedures and deploys
organizational and technological measures. While KWF puts in place
reasonable precautions to protect Personal Information, we cannot and do not
guarantee the security of such information. KWF maintains (and requires
our subcontractors and service providers to maintain) appropriate
organizational and technical measures designed to protect the security and
confidentiality of any information we process. However, no organizational or
technical measures are 100% secure, so you should take care when disclosing

a. We reserve the right to retain your Personal Information if doing so, in our good
faith belief, is necessary to comply with a law or legal process, to cooperate
with law enforcement, to complete a pending transaction, to resolve a claim or
dispute, or to enforce an applicable agreement between you and KWF.
b. Your opt-out regarding our communications will NOT affect communications from us of
a transactional or relationship nature or as required by law.
c. If you are a participant in a promotion that is co-sponsored by KWF with one or
more third-party co-sponsor(s), your opt-out will NOT stop our co-sponsor(s)
from sending you marketing/promotional communications, and you must contact our
co-sponsor(s) directly in order to opt out from its/their further use of your
Personal Information.
8. Children. KWF does not intentionally collect any
personal information from children under 13. By visiting our Website you are
verifying that your age is 13 years or more.

as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose(s) for which it was collected and
to comply with applicable laws, and your consent to such purpose(s) remains
valid after termination of your relationship with us.
